Week of Literature 2016

From April 18th to April 22th, the University of Georgia will conduct yet another Week of Literature dedicated to the World Book Day.
Many interesting events are planned within the week, such as public lectures, exhibition of books, the evening of poetry etc. Guests will include successful professionals, writers, and diplomats and so on.
The week will be summed up by the award ceremony of the 2016 winner of the UG Literary Competition – “Folio”.
UG hosted the first Week of Literature in 2015.


2016 Week of Literature Agenda:


April 18th – Public Lecture on “Influence of Literature on Modern Society”
Guest speaker – Mr. Nika Rurua (Attendance is free)
The University of Georgia, IV building, conference hall #519, 4pm

April 19th – Exhibition of Books (Novella Book Store)
The University of Georgia, IV building, ground floor, 12 am – 6 pm (for UG students will be special discount)

April 20th – Evening of Poetry
In the framework of the literature week the UG club – “Art Space” will be executed poetry evening (Attendance is free)
The University of Georgia, IV building, #519 conference hall, 5pm

April 21th – Public Lecture on “Modern Literature”
Guest speaker – writer Mr. Giorgi Kekelidze (Attendance is free)
The University of Georgia, IV building, conference hall #519, 4pm

April 22th – Rewarding Ceremony of the Winner of the UG Literary Competition – “Folio”
The University of Georgia, IV building, conference hall #519, 3pm (Attendance is free)
